Ontario craft producer roundup: summer 2026

Summer is when the previous fall's outdoor and greenhouse runs finish curing and reach shelves, which makes it the most interesting buying season of the year for craft flower in Ontario.
We are watching a handful of small eastern Ontario operations working with living soil and slow, low-temperature cures. The yields are unremarkable and the aroma is not. Expect heavier gas and fuel profiles from that group this year, alongside a few genuinely bright citrus cultivars.
On the extract side, more micro producers are moving into fresh-frozen material, which should mean better live resin at prices that are finally reasonable.
As always, we will publish full terpene data for everything we bring in, and we will pass on anything that arrives with an old harvest date.
